Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2017/2018 school year at Los Molinos!  I'm excited about all the great things we have in store for the year. We are thrilled to have added two new fabulous teachers to our staff - Ms. Grey who comes to us from Los Altos Elementary School and Mr. Allen who is previously from Cedarlane Elementary School.   With our growing student population, we have added two new portables, tables for our outdoor shade structures, new rubberized flooring for our playground and new flooring  for cafeteria.    In addition, we will continue with our fabulous piano keyboarding class -providing free piano keyboarding lessons for all 2nd-5th graders. Our statewide CAASPP assessment results continue to soar as we strive to provide a "World Class" education for all our students.   As you can see, we are dedicated to the implementation of 21st Century classrooms providing high quality, excellence in education as evidenced by our National Blue Ribbon, California Gold Ribbon and Distinguished School status.

We strongly believe that we are a "Learning Community" and encourage Parent Partnerships in assisting students in the classroom , meeting attendance, conferences, family events, PTA functions and at home.  We have a strong PTA which is the foundation for our many Programs and Activities such as our Fall Festival, Holiday Extravaganza, Book Fairs, Father-Son, Mother-Daughter events and much more.

I look forward to getting to know your family this year.  My door is always open and I welcome your input and suggestions.
