Parent Volunteers Wanted

Part of what makes Los Molinos such a huge success is the collaborative efforts of staff and parents.  We believe that parents are an integral part of their child's education.  There are many ways which you can be a part of that process.  Start by ensuring that your child is completing their homework in a quiet, structured environment.  Follow up with your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.  Lastly, volunteer to help in your child's classroom or at extracurricular events.  Studies show that students who have parents involved in their child's education, are much more likely to be successful. For your child's safety, the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District has a strict policy on volunteerism.  Parents need to complete an application as well as get fingerprinted prior to volunteering in the classroom.  Please visit our office staff for an application and more information.  We welcome your help!
