Principal's Message

 Dear families,

Get ready for an incredible 2019-2020 school year! I am pleased to announce that CAASPP results indicate that our students did exceptionally well once again in ELA and Math test scores! It is evident that at Los Molinos we are committed to aligning lessons to Common Core Standards, the 4 Cs (Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking), and 21st century learning. Our high quality, excellence in education is evidenced by our National Blue Ribbon, California Gold Ribbon, and Distinguished School status.  Our goal is for all students to be 21st century problem solvers and responsible citizens who will make a positive impact in our ever-changing global economy. Implementing rigorous academic programs make Los Molinos shine above all others!

As we provide a "world class" education, we will continue to have fun events and activities such as our free piano keyboarding classes, lessons in our fabulous Organic Garden, Harvest Festival, Holiday Performances, Family Nights, Talent Show, Cross Country, Basketball, Science Olympiad, after school programs that incorporate STEAM, Robotics, and art.  We have so much to look forward to!

Everything is possible with a Professional Learning Community, which includes everyone such as our dedicated teachers, caring staff, and our amazing parents. I encourage Parent Partnerships in assisting students in the classroom, meeting attendance, conferences, family events, PTA functions, and at home.  We have a strong PTA which is the foundation for our many Programs and Activities such as our Fall Festival, Holiday Extravaganza, Book Fairs, Father-Son, Mother-Daughter events and much more. This type of involvement and collaboration is what makes Los Molinos special, and we are lucky to have such great people!

I look forward to another spectacular school year.  My door is always open and I welcome your comments, suggestions, and compliments.

 Go Wildcats!
